“The enemy produces and shares videos with the inhuman treatment of alleged ‘Russian prisoners’ by ‘Ukrainian soldiers’ in order to discredit Ukrainian Defence Forces. I emphasize that service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other legitimate military formations strictly adhere to the norms of International Humanitarian law,” Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny posted on Facebook.
According to him, it is necessary to take into account the realities of informational and psychological warfare and trust only official sources.
As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine was ready to exchange prisoners with the Russian Federation.
