Ukraine Army repels five enemy attacks in Luhansk and Donetsk regions
The head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai, said this in a statement posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"In total, we repulsed five massive attacks by the Russian army in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions in the past day – the enemy's tanks, IFVs and vehicles were destroyed," Haidai said.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also pushed back the enemy from one district in Rubizhne.
"The Russians are unable to advance, so they continue to attack civilians - houses in Sievierodonetsk and Rubizhne were shelled last night," the statement said.
Haidai added that while there was relative silence, rescuers managed to restore a water pumping station in Rubizhne.
On March 27 in the village of Borivske in the Luhansk region, Russian shelling killed a child and wounded another child and an adult.
