Stefanchuk disappointed with Georgia, Moldova's position on sanctions against Russia

According to Ukrinform, Stefanchuk stated this on Facebook.

"I used to think that what unites Ukraine the most with Georgia and Moldova is that our countries were territorially 'bitten' by Russia. But today's position by Tbilisi and Chisinau regarding their neutrality in imposing sanctions on Russia has disappointed me. Well, a friend in need is a friend indeed," Stefanchuk said.

"But it is good that our peoples have a different opinion," he added.

Earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that Moldova will not join the sanctions against Russia because it fears the suspension of gas supplies from the aggressor country.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
