Ukrainian military shot down two enemy missiles in Poltava region
Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Dmytro Lunin wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"In the north of Poltava region, our army shot down two enemy missiles. The wreckage damaged power lines, so five villages and one partially remain without electricity,” Lunin wrote.
According to him, repair and maintenance teams have left for the scene. As expected, the power supply will be resumed by the end of the day.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
