Ukraine's top military leadership is considering all possible scenarios for Russia's further military action against Ukraine.

This was stated by Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, answering the question of whether the Armed Forces are ready for the invaders to return to the recently liberated territories, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The war goes on, and today we are looking into all possible scenarios for how this war will develop. We must all understand that the risk of missile attacks remains in place and the enemy doesn’t abandon its plans to move on with the offensive, to move deeper into our territory," said Malyar.

The official noted that in certain areas - Kyiv, Chernihiv regions - there has been a withdrawal of Russian troops, but it should be understood that they pulled back in order to regroup, strengthen, and rush back into battle.

"We are preparing for all scenarios, and we continue to fight. Fierce fighting continues in many regions. We will definitely win, but this is a long path, which requires our efforts and patience," Malyar stressed.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on April 5, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told a news conference that Russian troops, according to intelligence and observations, were regrouping, replenishing supplies, and providing units with resources for a new large-scale offensive in eastern Ukraine that is expected to kick off in a few weeks.
