Enemy attempting to conduct air reconnaissance over Odesa region – military administration

Serhii Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Odesa regional military administration, said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Last night in Odesa and the region was relatively calm, although air raid sirens sounded, as the enemy is intensifying air reconnaissance. But our air defense forces are working and conducting defense operations," Bratchuk said.

He also warned residents of Odesa that Ukrainian drones and helicopters could be flying in the airspace around the city.

"If you hear the sound of a helicopter, don't worry: our forces are patrolling Mykolaiv and most likely fly to us. Our drones were also spotted over the city," he said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying critical infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
