Ukrainian army destroys three enemy tanks, IFV, aircraft in eastern Ukraine

That's according to the Facebook page of the Operational and Tactical Group East, Ukrinform reports.

"On April 6, in the area of responsibility of the Operational and Tactical Group East, Russian fascist troops carried out three attacks. Fighting is ongoing," the statement said.

According to the statement, Ukrainian defenders destroyed three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, a mortar, six artillery tractors, an aircraft and up to 60 personnel.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying critical infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
