26 Ukrainians released from Russian captivity - Vereshchuk

Twenty-six Ukrainians were released from Russian captivity today as part of a detainee exchange.
Iryna Vereshchuk, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"On the instructions of President [Volodymyr] Zelensky, the third prisoner exchange took place today. Twelve of our service members, including a female officer, are returning home," she wrote.
According to Vereshchuk, 14 civilians, including nine women, were also released.
Ukrinform reported earlier that 86 Ukrainian service members were released as part of a prisoner swap held in the Zaporizhia region on April 1.
