Ukrainian defenders repulse six enemy attacks in JFO area over past day

The press service of the Joint Forces Operation said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Thanks to the skilful actions of a Joint Forces grouping, six enemy attacks were successfully repulsed today. Our soldiers inflicted losses on the Russian occupiers," the statement said.

Ukrainian defenders destroyed four tanks, five armored vehicles and 26 motor vehicles and eight artillery systems of the enemy.

In addition, air defense units shot down two helicopters and four enemy drones in the skies of the Ukrainian region of Donbas.

Earlier reports said that Russian troops lost about 19,500 people from February 24 to April 11.
