Zelensky calls on EU to stop sponsoring Russia's military machine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on European countries to give up Russia's energy resources and stop funding Russia's military machine.
He said this in a video address, Ukrinform reports.
"First of all, we need an oil embargo and a clear readiness by Europe [to give up] all Russian energy sources. The European Union must stop sponsoring the Russian military machine," Zelensky said.
Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine entered its 49th day on April 13. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying critical and civilian infrastructure, brutally killing Ukrainians.
The US, UK, EU and other countries continue to impose sanctions on Russia.
