Zelensky sees lives of Ukrainians and Russians as clash of two different worlds

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he considers Ukraine and Russia to be a clash of two worlds - ordinary people and people who have been intentionally humiliated by their state.

He wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"It is a clash of two different worlds. The world of ordinary people who simply lived a peaceful life, sought harmony for themselves and their children, thought about the future. And the world of people who have been specially humiliated by their state for decades, specially driven into poverty and lawlessness, so that their government can guide them to any venture," Zelensky said.

He also published photos of the consequences of the destructive actions of Russian invaders and the lives of civilian Ukrainians during wartime.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of the eight-year war against Ukraine. The enemy is shelling and bombing peaceful Ukrainian cities, towns and villages. The whole people of Ukraine rose up to fight the invaders. The Ukrainian army and territorial defense forces are effectively resisting Russian troops and inflicting heavy losses on them.
