Air defense forces destroy five enemy targets over past day

On April 17, the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed five enemy air targets: three helicopters, an aircraft, and a drone.
“On April 17, the air defense units of the Air Force and the Land Forces destroyed five air targets: 1 aircraft (Su-type fighter), 3 helicopters (two Mi-24 and one Ka-52), 1 UAV of operational and tactical level (Orlan-10),” the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
As noted, the Air Force fighters continue to patrol the airspace and shield the troops from the air, while strike aircraft launch missiles and bombs attacks on the positions of Russian troops.
