Civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of five powerful missile strikes on Lviv.

Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Five powerful missile strikes on the civilian infrastructure of an ancient European Lviv. The Russians continue to barbarically attack Ukrainian cities from the air, cynically declaring to the whole world their 'right' ... to kill Ukrainians," Podoliak said.

Explosions were heard in Lviv this morning. The head of the regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said there were four Russian missile strikes and urged people not to publish any photos and videos from the affected areas. Later Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said there were five explosions.

On February 24, Russian President Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying critical infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
