Enemy rocket fragment hit territory of orphanage in Lviv
Volodymyr Lys, the head of the children's service of the Lviv Regional State Administration, confirmed this to Ukrinform.
“All children are safe. Damage to the orphanage is minimal, a few windows in the basement have blown out,” Lys said.
Vitaliy Zahaynyi, the deputy head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, was the first to inform about the enemy rocket fragment hitting the orphanage. He reported this on the air of the NTA channel. Zahaynyi noted that the orphanage is located quite far from the place where enemy missiles hit, but rocket fragments can also be dangerous.
As reported, on April 18, four missiles hit Lviv. Three of them struck military infrastructure and one hit a tyre fitting service. A fire broke out. The facilities were severely damaged. In addition, several missiles strikes were recorded near the main railway station in Lviv.
At least 7 people were killed and 11 more, including a child, were injured.
