Ukraine Army downs enemy plane near Balakliia

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov during a telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Today we have shot down an enemy plane near the city of Balakliia,” Syniehubov told.

In his words, Russian occupiers continue to shell the city of Kharkiv. Today Russian shells have hit Kharkiv’s Nemyshlianskyi District and Osnovianskyi District, leaving three civilians killed. Such districts as Piatykhatky, Pivnichna Saltivka and downtown are also affected by Russia’s shelling.

Izium is remaining the hottest spot in Kharkiv Region.

According to the estimates of the law enforcement agencies, more than 500 civilians have been killed in Kharkiv Region over 50 days since the Russian invasion started.
