Invaders carry out assault operations in the direction of Sloviansk

According to the General Staff, during the day the enemy carried out assault operations in the direction of the city of Sloviansk and then remained in the village of Lozove. In the areas of Zelena Dolyna and Kreminna, the enemy continues focusing efforts on its occupied positions, regrouping and preparing for offensive operations.

The enemy strengthened the grouping of troops by moving from the territory of the Russian Federation of individual units of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District. However, the enemy had no success in the village of Rubizhne.

In the area of Popasna, the enemy carried out assault operations in the direction of the settlement of Novotoshkivske and the settlement of Popasna, but had no success. However, enemy troops relocated to the central part of the settlement of Stepne.

In the Avdiivka and Kurakhivka areas, the invaders tried to carry out assault operations, but had not success.

In the Mariupol direction, the enemy continued to launch air strikes on Mariupol and block Ukrainian units in the area of Azovstal.

As reported, on April 21, Ukrainian air defense units destroyed 15 enemy air targets, including three places, three helicopters and nine Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.
