Rescuers dismantle rubble after Russia’s missile strike on Odesa

Rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble caused by Russia’s missile strike on an apartment block in the city of Odesa on April 23, 2022, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Rescue works are underway. All municipal services and the Ukrainian State Emergency Service are working at the scene. A total of 96 rescuers and 18 equipment units of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service are involved in operations.
Today, a live cat has been rescued from under the rubble on floor 4. According to rescuers, it is a miracle, as there was little left of the apartment itself.
A reminder that the Russian military launched missile strikes from the Caspian Sea on the city of Odesa on April 23, 2022. Eight people were reported killed and at least 18 wounded.
