Borrell: Russia's latest airstrike on Kyiv is blatant disregard for international law

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell considers yesterday's Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian capital during the visits made by UN Secretary-General Guterres and Bulgarian PM Petkov a blatant disregard for international law.

“Shocked and appalled about the Russian missile strikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. Russia demonstrates again its blatant disregard for intl law by bombarding a city while UN Secretary-General António Guterres is present, alongside Bulgarian PM Kiril Petkov,” Borrell posted on Twitter.

As reported, on April 28, the Russians again fired missiles on the capital of Ukraine.

A 25-storey residential building was partially destroyed as a result of the enemy strike. According to preliminary data, 10 people were injured.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba noted that Russia had demonstrated its attitude to Europe and the world once again by firing missiles on Kyiv during the visits by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Kiril Petkov.
