Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, commander of the Ukrainian Joint Forces, has made a working visit to the units defending positions in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions and stressed that groupings of Ukrainian troops in dangerous areas are reinforced every day.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the command of the Ukrainian Joint Forces reported this on Facebook.

"The situation on the territory where the fighting is taking place is difficult. In particular, in the Izium area, in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as well as in the area of Velyka Novosilka, the enemy makes daily attempts to attack [Ukrainian] defensive positions with battalion tactical groups. The enemy supports its offensive with air and missile strikes, MLRS fire, artillery fire of all calibers and mortars," Nayev said.

He also stressed that the relevant work to reinforce each grouping in dangerous areas continues every day. The situation is difficult, but it is controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he said.

Nayev also noted the heroism and professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers, recalling that their service is very difficult and is in direct danger to their own lives and health.
