Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks in the area of the Joint Forces Operation on Tuesday, May 3.
According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation reported this on Facebook.
"On May 3, servicemen of a Joint Forces grouping successfully repulsed 12 enemy attacks. Thanks to their skillful actions, our warriors inflicted losses on the Russian occupiers," the statement said.
In particular, Ukrainian defenders destroyed six tanks, five artillery systems (including three multiple launch rocket systems), 15 armored fighting vehicles and nine vehicles of the enemy.
Ukrainian air defense forces also shot down a cruise missile and three Orlan-10 drones.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian defenders had already killed about 24,200 Russian soldiers from February 24 to May 3.
