Russian troops continue to shell the city of Kharkiv. Local authorities recommend that Kharkiv residents do not ignore air raid alerts.
The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Today Kharkiv’s Kyiv District has come under enemy fire. Russia’s shelling caused several fires. Residential houses, household buildings, private cars caught fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished all fires,” Syniehubov wrote.
Syniehubov also called on local residents to not ignore air raid alerts, as staying outdoors is extremely dangerous.
A reminder that heavy battles are raging in Kharkiv Region. Russian troops are attempting to advance and launching artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
