221 children killed in Ukraine since Russian invasion

A total of 221 children have been killed and over 408 injured in Ukraine since the Russian invasion started.
The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office said this on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
At least 629 children in Ukraine have been affected by the Russian armed aggression as of May 5, 2022, the report said.
Currently, most casualties were recorded in Donetsk Region (139), Kyiv Region (116), Kharkiv Region (95), Chernihiv Region (68), Kherson Region (46), Mykolaiv Region (44), Luhansk Region (37), Zaporizhzhia Region (27), Sumy Region (17), the city of Kyiv (16) and Zhytomyr Region (15).
A total of 1,584 educational institutions were damaged across Ukraine as a result of Russia's daily air and artillery strikes, and 118 of them were destroyed completely.
