On the night of May 12, Russian aircraft struck Novhorod-Siversky town in Chernihiv region.
"Last night, Muscovite bastards launched several airstrikes on critical infrastructure facilities of Novhorod-Siversky town," Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to Chaus, schools, administrative buildings, and private houses were damaged.
The attacks killed and injured several people.
Rescuers and healthcare workers are currently working at the scene.
As reported, on the morning of May 11, Russian troops fired mortars on Chernihiv region from the territory of Russia.
