Khortytsia’s wildlife area hit with Russian missile

Zaporizhzhia Region’s island of Khortytsia has been hit with a Russian missile today.
The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Spokesperson Ivan Arefiev in a commentary to journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“On May 12, 2022, about 10:00 a.m., the Russian military launched a cruise missile on Zaporizhzhia Region. The missile hit Khortytsia’s wildlife area, having caused a fire. No damage to infrastructure was revealed upon inspection. According to the confirmed data, there were no casualties,” the report states.
A reminder that, on April 21, 2022, the Russian military launched two cruise missiles on Zaporizhzhia Region’s Khortytsia. One missile dropped near Preobrazhenskyi Bridge, and the other one hit a local health care center.
