State border in Sumy Region secured, but provocative shelling from Russia underway

Russian invaders have not broken through the state border in Shostka District, Sumy Region, but continue provocative shelling from the territory of Russia.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“An update on the situation in Shostka District. No breaking through the state border has been recorded. But, provocative shelling from the territory of Russia is underway,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.

A reminder that Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi reported earlier that a battle was raging in the north of Shostka District, and Russians attempted to break through the state border near the city of Seredyna-Buda.
