Russians resume assault on Slovyansk. Situation in Slobozhansky direction tense
Fedir Venislavsky, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence said this during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center–Ukrinform.
"The tense situation is observed in Kharkiv region, in Slobozhansky direction. The enemy redeployed reserves from Belgorod region through the temporarily occupied cities of Kupyansk and Vovchansk after it has been regrouping forces and resources for 10 days, almost two weeks," Venislavsky said.
In addition, he informed that the Russian armed forces resumed the assault on Slovyansk, Donetsk region.
On February 24, Russian president Putin launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
