Ukraine Army liberates 24 settlements in Kharkiv Region – Zaluzhnyi
The relevant statement was made by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Twenty-four settlements have been liberated in Kharkiv Region. The village of Kutuzivka was deoccupied in early May. About 170 local residents had spent over two months in a nursery school basement. Forty children, aged from 3 months to 12 years, were among them,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.
In his words, the Ukrainian military, who were liberating Kutuzivka, provided first aid to local residents and shared the necessities with them, such as water, food and clothing.
A reminder that, on May 19, 2022, Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksii Hromov stated that a total of 23 settlements had been liberated from Russian invaders in Kharkiv Region over the past two weeks.
