Russian aggressors fired mortars and artillery from Russian territory at the village of Mezenivka in the Krasnopillia community, Sumy region.
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy fired mortars and artillery from Russian territory at the village of Mezenivka and its outskirts," the statement said.
According to Zhyvytskyi, a fire broke out on an old farm as a result of enemy shelling. Fences were damaged and windows broken in residential buildings.
No casualties were recorded.
