Ukrainian army pushes invaders back in Sievierodonetsk, town divided in half
“The Russians had controlled 70% of Sievierodonetsk, but they were pushed back over the past two days, the town is divided in half now. The occupiers lost a lot of personnel, eight Russians were taken prisoner,” Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, all the reserves of the enemy army are aimed at capturing Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk–Bakhmut highway.
Last night, about 30 shells hit the building of the humanitarian headquarters in Lysychansk, Haidai noted.
Earlier, Head of the Luhansk Military Regional Administration Serhiy Haidai stated that there was a concentration of hostilities in Sievierodonetsk, the enemy was pulling reserves but suffered huge losses.
