Yermak: Russian aggression can be stopped with strong diplomacy, sanctions and weapons
According to Ukrinform, Yermak wrote this on Telegram, commenting on Sunday's cruise missile strikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
"Some countries are proposing 'not to humiliate' Russia. At the same time, we are being shelled: our cities, people… They are trying to take away our territories, and some of them have been occupied for eight years now. And the responsibility for crimes, for genocide against Ukrainians should be as severe as possible," Yermak said.
At the same time, he noted that "the responsibility of the aggressor is not humiliation, but justice."
Early on June 5, the enemy fired missiles at Kyiv's Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, one person was hospitalized.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, five Kh-22 cruise missiles were fired against Kyiv. One of them was destroyed by air defense units, while others hit infrastructure facilities.
It was reported later that four Russian missiles had hit the Darnytsia Railcar Repair Plant (DVRZ) in the left-bank part of Kyiv.
