Ukraine's Armed Forces have shot down a Russian missile in the sky over the Poltava region.
Dmytro Lunin, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"In the sky over the Poltava region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down an enemy missile! Do not ignore air raid alerts! Glory to Ukraine," Lunin wrote.
Early on June 5, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a Russian missile over the Obukhiv district, Kyiv region. At the same time, Russians launched missiles strikes on the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts of Kyiv, injuring one person.
