Russian troops set to advance towards Slovyansk

“The situation in Volyn, Polissya, and Siversky directions has not changed significantly.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy tries to prevent the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine from advancing towards the state border. The aggressor fired mortars, artillery, and MLRS on the Ukrainian units to restrain their actions in the area of Kharkiv, Krynychna, Husarivka, Bayrak, and Chepil,” reads the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

In Slovyansk direction, the enemy units get ready to resume the offensive on the town of Slovyansk. The enemy fired artillery on Dolyna, Chervona Poliana, Nova Dmytrivka, Hrushuvakha, and Dibrivne.

In Sievierodonetsk direction, the enemy assaults in order to establish full control over the town of Sievierodonetsk and create conditions for the blockade of Ukrainian units. The fighting continues. The enemy fired artillery on Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Ustynivka, Toshkivka, Zolote, and Hirske.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy fire activity was recorded near New York, Zolote, Vrubivka, Komyshuvakha, Berestove, and Luhanske.

In Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlisk, and Zaporizhzhia directions, the invaders did not take active action. They fired mortars, tube and rocket artillery in the areas of Avdiivka, Tonenke, Nevelske, Marinka, Orikhiv, Opytne, and Novobakhmutivka.

The enemy launched air strikes near Marinka and Krasnohorivka using Su-25 aircraft, near Novobahmutivka using Ka-52 helicopters, and near Oleksandropil using Mi-8 helicopters. In Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy strengthened the grouping of its troops.

The enemy did not wage active hostilities in Lyman direction. The invaders continue to gain a foothold in the area of ​​Sviatohirsk, take measures to continue the offensive in Lyman–Slovyansk direction, launched a strike near Dronivka and Serebrianka.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy defends itself, continues to equip its second and third lines of defense.

The situation in Bessarabsky direction has not changed significantly.

In the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, the enemy focuses its efforts on blocking civilian shipping. In the Black Sea, carriers of Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles are on alert.

The General Staff notes that the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses on enemy troops and hold a stable defense in all directions.
