The Ukrainian military is ready to liberate the temporarily occupied territories and all they need to this end is long-range weapons.

That’s according to Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Ukrinform reports.

“Kherson region. Several km from Russian positions. Dozens of destroyed villages. Our guys are on the positions, in high spirits. We push the enemy back even considering limited resources. We lack only one thing – long-range weapons. In any case, we will throw Russia out of the Ukrainian south,” Podolyak tweeted.

According to the official, no agreement can be reached with Russia: "They came here not to fight for something, they came to destroy everything, this is the essence of the ‘Russian world,’ this is the essence of what they will do in Ukraine. They won’t let us live in peace, they will (be attacking – ed.), time and time again, if we end this war the wrong way, and to end it the right way means to expel the Russians from Ukraine in full. If we end the war the wrong way, they will constantly do this to us," Podolyak said.
