Macron after visiting Irpin: “We saw a devastated city and a mark of barbarism
Macron wrote about this in a caption to a video he posted on Twitter, shot in the liberated town of Irpin, Kyiv region, which he visited earlier today, Ukrinform reports.
“Irpin in Ukraine. We saw a devastated city and a mark of barbarism. And also the heroism of Ukrainian men and women who stopped the Russian army when it attacked Kyiv. Ukraine is resisting. It must be able to win," Macron wrote.
As Ukrinform reported, on June 16, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi arrived in Ukraine. Romanian President Klaus Iohannis also arrived in Ukraine’s capital on the same day.
