Enemy launches air strikes in Syrotyne, Borivske ares of Luhansk region

In Luhansk region, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Syrotyne and Borivske localities.

"Airstrikes were launched in the areas of Syrotyne and Borivske. Our defenders successfully repulsed the assault near Syrotyne and Metiolkine. The occupier retreated to its former positions. As well as near Hirske," Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai posted on Telegram.

With the support of artillery, the Russian invaders carried out assault operations near Nyrkove.

"Ukrainian soldiers forced them to give up this idea by fire," Haidai stressed.

Yesterday, five people injured in recent days – four residents of Lysychansk and one resident of Sievierodonetsk who came under fire in Lysychansk – were hospitalized to Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Russian invasion as of 06:00 on June 18, the enemy continues to fire from artillery and MLRS on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure near Lysychansk, Metiolkino, Ustynivka, and Voronove.

The battle of Sievierodonetsk continues. In order to improve their tactical situation, the enemy units tried to carry out assault operations outside the town but failed.
