50 rescuers extinguishing fire caused by Russian missile attack on oil depot

The relevant statement was made at a briefing by Daryna Tsurkan, Chief Public Relations Specialist at the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A total of 50 rescuers and 13 equipment units are working at the scene,” Tsurkan said.

In her words, eleven civilians were injured in the missile strike. One person is now in critical condition and six more – in moderately grave condition.

A reminder that earlier a fuel tank exploded at the oil depot in Novomoskovsk District, as rescuers were extinguishing the fire. One rescuer was killed and two more injured and taken to hospital.

On June 18, 2022, the Russian military launched five missile strikes on Dnipropetrovsk Region. Two Russian missiles hit Kryvyi Rih and three more – Novomoskovsk District. As a result, one person was killed and 15 injured.
