Russian soldiers concerned about possible encirclement - intercept
That’s according to the press service of Ukraine’s military intelligence, the GUR, Ukrinform reports.
"Two ruscists in an intercepted call discuss the current situation on the front line. One of the interlocutors is trying to find out if they are going to be rotated from the front line and says that he is afraid of their units being encircled by Ukraine’s Armed Forces. ‘I have a feeling they will soon encircle us. They are moving around us on all fronts. We are moving forward, and they are pushing toward us from the sides. Both east and west. Everyone gathered in one place,’" the report says, citing one of the soldiers as saying in the call.
In addition, the invaders complain about the quality of their rear units. When asked who remained in the rear he answers: “Security operatives, pure drunks. No good."
As Ukrinform reported, the Russian invaders are conducting rotations in the Russian Guard units against the background of significant losses in the ongoing war against Ukraine. Lieutenant General Sergei Vlasenko has been removed from the post of Chief of Staff - First Deputy Commander of the Russian Guard’s North Caucasus District. Lieutenant General Anatoly Malikov has been appointed to replace him. Until now, Malikov held the position of head of the main department of state control and licensing of the Russian Guard’s Federal Service.
