Enemy regroups troops in Bakhmut direction
This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Russian invasion as of 06:00 on June 22, published on Facebook.
The enemy tries to establish full control over the town of Sievierodonetsk and block units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the areas of Borivske and Voronove. Fighting continues.
The Ukrainian soldiers repulsed the assault towards Vuhlehirsk TPP in Myronivka–Semyhirye direction and stopped the offensive in Molodizhne–Katerynivka direction. The enemy retreated.
In Kramatorsk, Avdiivka, Novopavlivsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy is fighting to restrain the actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and prevent them from being redeployed to threatening directions. Russians fired on the areas of Andriyivka, Novodonetske, Stara Ukrainka, and Huliaypole, launched an airstrike near Krasnohorivka.
In Slovyansk direction, the occupiers steadily open fire in order to create conditions for the resumption of the offensive on Slovyansk, conduct assault operations. The enemy opens fire from multiple rocket launchers near Nova Dmytrivka, Osynivka, Kurulka, Ivanivka, and Adamivka.
In Volyn and Polissya directions, certain units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus focus their main efforts on conducting reconnaissance, reinforcing positions, and protecting the state border.
In Siversky direction, the enemy, in order to demonstrate its presence, holds up to three battalion tactical groups and units of airborne troops in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. The enemy fired mortars and artillery on the Ukrainian localities of Seredyna-Buda, Myropillia, Sumy region, and Hremyach, Chernihiv region.
In Kharkiv direction, the enemy conducts air reconnaissance in order to identify the locations of Ukrainian troops. The aggressor carried out intense artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions near Kharkiv, Staryi Saltiv, Rubizhne, and Chepil. In addition, the enemy fired tube and rocket artillery on civilian infrastructure in the areas of the Ukrainka, Petrivka, Shevelivka, Bazaliyivka, and Prudianka.
In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy focuses its main efforts on preventing the offensive of Ukrainian troops. Russians fired artillery and MLRS in the areas of Tavriyske, Shevchenkove, Kyselivka, and Kvitneve, launched an air strike near Bila Krynytsia.
The Russian aggressor continues to block civilian shipping. Six Kalibr sea-launched cruise missile carriers are on alert in the Black Sea.
The strike groups of Ukrainian assault aircraft and bombers, under cover of fighters, launch airstrikes on enemy positions. About 10 armored personnel vehicles, enemy manpower, and several ammunition depots were destroyed.
