Apartment building catches fire after missile strike on Kyiv

A fire broke out in a nine-story apartment building in Kyiv after a missile strike on the city's Shevchenkivskyi district, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service has said on Facebook.
"On June 26, at 06:29, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine received a report of a fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. […] Due to enemy shelling, a fire broke out in a nine-story residential building with partial destruction of the first, second and third floors. The fire broke out on a total area of 300 square meters," the statement said.
Firefighting and rescue operations are underway. According to preliminary reports, one person was injured.
