Today Russian troops have been continuously shelling the Zelenodolsk community, which is situated in Kryvyi Rih District, Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Mykola Lukashuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Two civilians with shrapnel wounds have requested medical assistance today. They were provided with the necessary aid and refused to stay in hospital. In the evening, one more civilian sought medical attention – his life is not in danger. Rescuers also helped two more civilians – mother and daughter – to get out of their apartment, as the front door was deformed in shelling,” Lukashuk wrote.

Russian invaders fired at the city and adjacent areas with the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and cannon artillery.

As a result, one of housing communities caught fire. In addition, several apartment blocks, sports school, post office and culture hall were damaged. Shell fragments and craters caused by the Grad MLRS were revealed in the park area of Zelenodolsk.

According to Lukashuk, air raid sirens rang across Dnipropetrovsk Region during the day. But, other districts of Dnipropetrovsk Region remained intact.
