Russian troops fire at Kryvyi Rih District but situation controlled

The relevant statement was made by Kryvyi Rih Military Administration Head Oleksandr Vilkul on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In our direction, the situation is remaining very tense but fully controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy continues to suffer losses in terms of personnel and equipment. Having faced the well-coordinated actions of our units, who had been not only keeping the defense but successfully conducting counteroffensive operations for four months, the occupiers are increasingly opening fire all over the contact line,” Vilkul wrote.

In his words, the Zelenodolsk community and the Shyroke community came under enemy fire last night. In the morning, Russian invaders also opened fire on the village of Velyka Kostromka. A 31-year-old civilian was injured.

In addition, Russian troops fired at Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant, which is situated in Zelenodolsk. The damage caused is yet to be reported.

At the contact line, the enemy also opened fire on such settlements as Osokorivka, Trudoliubivka, etc.

According to Vilkul, a woman born in 1974 was seriously injured in Russia’s shelling of Orlove, Kherson Region. She was evacuated to hospital in Kryvyi Rih.
