Russia’s Kh-22 missile shot down over Odesa Region

The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units have shot down an enemy Kh-22 missile over Odesa Region, which was launched from Russia’s Tu-22 bomber.

The relevant statement was made on Telegram by Odesa City Council, referring to the South Operational Command, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The enemy’s strategic aviation fired a Kh-22 air-based missile with Tu-22 bomber from the Black Sea direction at Odesa Region. The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units destroyed the missile over the fields of Odesa District,” the report states.

No casualties or damage were reported.
