Ukraine Army repels Russia’s assault operations in three directions
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
As of 06:00 p.m., June 30, 2022, the situation remained unchanged in the Volyn and Polissia directions. One of special units, performing tasks near Pinsk, is expected to rotate. Belarusian armed forces are using electronic warfare systems in the areas bordering with Volyn Region.
In the Siverskyi direction, Russian troops continue to hold units in the border areas of Bryansk Region and Kursk Regions. The enemy fired at Ukrainian positions with artillery. Russian invaders conducted air reconnaissance with unmanned aerial vehicles near the village of Kysla Dubyna. They also deployed electronic warfare systems near Oleshnya, Kursk Region.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian occupiers are defending the previously captured frontiers. The enemy launched air strikes near Prudianka and Odnorobivka and a missile strike on the city of Kharkiv.
Russia’s assault operations in the direction of Kochubeivka-Dementiivka were immediately prevented by the Ukrainian forces.
The enemy fired at such settlements as Pytomnyk, Dementiivka, Ivanivka, Rubizhne, Yavirske, Petrovka, Ruski Tyshky and Kutuzivka with artillery. Russian troops also conducted air reconnaissance with an Orlan-10 UAV near Prudianka and Ruska Lozova.
In the Sloviansk direction, Russian troops are regrouping. Ukrainian defenders successfully repulsed the enemy’s assault operations in the direction of Dovhenke-Mazanivka. The enemy retreated. Russian invaders also carried out assault operations in order to gain full control over Bohorodychne but had no success.
Russian troops opened fire near such settlements as Bohorodychne, Krasnopillia, Kurulka, Vernopillia and Chervona Poliana.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not take active actions. Russian troops launched an air strike near Tetianivka.
In the Lysychansk direction, Russian invaders fired at Ukrainian positions near the city of Lysychansk. The enemy is conducting assault operations in the area of Lysychansk Oil Refinery. Russian troops have gained partial success and are maintaining the north-western and south-eastern parts of the plant.
Russian occupiers carried out assault operations near the north-eastern part of Lysychansk Oil Refinery, Topolivka and the northern part of such settlements as Vovchoiarivka and Maloriazantseve.
The enemy’s offensive in the direction of Loskutivka-Lysychansk Gelatin Plant was stopped by the Ukrainian forces, and the occupiers retreated.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched a missile and air strike near Soledar. The enemy launched artillery strikes on such districts as Bilohorivka, Pokrovske, Klynove and Novoluhanske.
Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped all the enemy’s attempts to conduct offensive and assault operations in such directions as Mykolaivka-Spirne, Volodymyrivka-Pokrovske, Dolomitne-Vuhlehirska TPP.
In the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian troops fired at Ukrainian positions with cannon and rocket artillery all over the contact line. The enemy launched a missile strike on the outskirts of Avdiivka and conducted air reconnaissance with an Orlan-10 UAV.
In the Southern Bug direction, Russian occupiers continued to shell such settlements as Trudoliubivka, Kniazivka, Veselyi Kut, Chervonyi Yar, Kobzartsi, Liubomyrivka, Posad-Pokrovske and Lupareve. The enemy conducted air reconnaissance. The use of electronic warfare systems was detected near Velyka Oleksandrivka.
In the Black Sea, three enemy Kalibr missile carriers are ready to fire missiles at the territory of Ukraine.
“Having failed to withstand the fire of our artillery, rocket and aviation units, Russian occupiers abandoned Snake Island. Hence, Odesa Region has been fully liberated,” the General Staff stressed.
A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and June 30, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 35,600 troops.
