Ukraine troops in country’s south eliminate 30 invaders, destroy enemy tank, Uragan MLRS, eight trucks
This was announced on Facebook by Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.
"They are trying to rotate their troops and ensure proper ammo supplies. As part of the logistical support of their troops, 17 railcars carrying ammunition arrived at the Kalanchak station from the temporarily occupied Crimea. As manpower reinforcements, a group arrived from the Khabarovsk Krai. However, the occupiers are too demoralized and are looking for the possibility of sustaining minor injuries to leave the active unit and return to Russia," the statement reads.
Without risking proceeding with offensive actions on the ground, the enemy resorts to air strikes. Ka-52 strike helicopters, operating in pairs, launched four strikes at Ivanivka and Koshove, and two at Zarichne. No casualties were reported in the area.
The invaders shelled Velika Kostromka with heavy artillery, continuing to destroy civilian infrastructure.
In response, a pair of Ukrainian fighter jets struck an enemy cluster in the area of Davydiv Brid. The planes were attacked by two air-to-air cruise missiles fired from an enemy Su-35.
Continuing to attack the enemy's depots and bases, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on the enemy base in the Daryivka area in Kherson region.
Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 30 occupiers, also destroying a T-62 tank, an Uragan <LR system, a Msta-B howitzer, eight trucks, and two ammunition depots.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ukrainian Army repelled an enemy assault in Bilohorivka and forced the enemy to withdraw after an offensive toward the Vuhlehirsk Thermal Power Plant and an unsuccessful reconnaissance in force near the outskirts of Berestove.
