Ukraine Army repulses enemy assault near Dolyna in Sloviansk direction - war update

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the morning update by the Ukrainian Army’s General Staff.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed significantly. No signs were observed of any enemy offensive groups being formed on the territory of Belarus.

In the Siversky direction, the aggressor fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Zalizniy Myst, Shalyhine, and Esman, as well as worked to improves fortifications at their advanced positions in border areas.

The enemy is conducting defensive operations in the Kharkiv direction. The Russians shelled the area using helicopters, tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery near Sosnivka, Slatine, Mala Danilivka, Cherkasky Tyshki, Vesele, Kutuzivka, Mospanove, Husarivka, Chepil, and Nova Mykolaivka.

Russian occupiers remotely mined the area near Shestakovo and Peremoha.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians hit civilian infrastructure in the districts of Siversk and Hryhorivka. Ukrainian troops inflicted significant losses on the enemy forces during the latter’s attempted offensive in the areas of Verkhnokamianske, Bilohorivka, and Hryhorivka. The occupiers were forced to retreat.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions with artillery of various calibers near Berestovo, Bilohorivka, Travneve, Shumy, and New York. The Russians also carried out an airstrike in the area of ​​the Vuhlehirsk TPP. With the support of artillery, they conducted assault operations in the area of ​​ Novoluhanske – with no success. Ukrainian troops repulsed the enemy offensive in the area of ​​Spirny and repelled the attack near Vershyn, inflicting losses on the occupiers and pushing them back. The enemy is now trying to regroup its troops.

Meanwhile, the invaders are advancing in Luhansk region, where hostilities continue.

In the Avdiyivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhia directions along the contact line, mortar and artillery shelling is ongoing. Enemy airstrikes hit the area near Avdiyivka.

In the South Buh direction, enemy artillery shelled the areas of Trudolyubivka, Knyazivka, Mykolaivka, Topolyne, Kobzartsi, Blahodatne, Shevchenkive, and Lupareve. The Russian occupiers continue to launch rocket attacks on various sites across Mykolaiv region. There remains a further threat of such actions as four high-precision cruise missile carriers have been deployed and are now combat-ready in the Black Sea.

Ukrainian soldiers harshly repressed the invaders' attempt to advance in the direction of Lozova. The enemy pursues measures to replenish losses in manpower and equipment.
