Ukraine Army eliminates 38 invaders, destroys tank, three ammo depots in Ukraine's south
That's according to the Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.
On July 6, Russian forces lost 38 soldiers, a T-62 tank, two Sani 120 mm mortar systems, two armored vehicles, four vehicles, as well as three ammunition depots in the Mykolaiv region and a fuel depot in Kherson.
The command said that near Dobrianka (Kherson region), a subversive and reconnaissance group of up to ten invaders attempted to break through to the rear of Ukrainian units. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed five Russians and wounded one more, forcing the group to retreat.
The occupiers also attempted to assault Ukrainian positions near Myroliubivka, Beryslav district, Kherson region. However, they did not succeed there and left.
Russian occupation forces continue the tactics of air and missile strikes. Early on July 6, Russian helicopters again attacked Plotnytske and Ivanivka. No casualties were recorded. In the afternoon, the Russians fired a missile from an aircraft at Odesa, but Ukraine's air defense downed it over the sea.
In the evening, during an air battle, a Russian fighter jet fired two cruise missiles at Ukrainian aircraft, which were not damaged. The enemy Su-35 was forced to retreat.
In addition, Russian forces shelled the village of Lymany in the Mykolaiv region using Grad multiple launch rocket systems and 122 mm artillery. The shelling damaged a kindergarten and administration building in the community. A fire engine of the local territorial community was destroyed. There are no casualties.
At noon, the occupiers shelled the Shyroke community and damaged 15 panels of a solar power plant. One person was wounded.
On February 24, Russia began a new stage of its eight-year war against Ukraine – an all-out offensive. The enemy is shelling and bombing peaceful Ukrainian cities, towns and villages. The Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense Forces and the entire Ukrainian people are effectively resisting Russian troops and inflicting heavy losses on them.
