Rescuers finish dismantling rubble after missile attack on Vinnytsia, one person still missing

Rescuers have finished dismantling the rubble from buildings destroyed by a Russian missile attack against Vinnytsia, with one person still missing.

The press center of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Vinnytsia: work on the demolition of the debris caused by Russian shelling has been completed. [...] Units of the State Emergency Service rescued three people. One person remains missing," the report reads.

According to the report, 55 apartment blocks and private residential buildings, 40 cars and two trams were damaged and destroyed by the missile strike.

According to the health department of the regional military administration, 23 people, including three children, were killed by the shelling, 202 people sought medical help, 68 of them were hospitalized, including four children, and 110 received outpatient care.

Serhii Borzov, head of the Vinnytsia regional military administration, reported 24 casualties: a woman injured in a Russian rocket attack on Vinnytsia on Thursday died in the hospital on Saturday.

On July 14, Russian troops fired three Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea at the center of Vinnytsia.
