Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"As of now, 19 people, including a child, have been injured by the shelling of a district in Kharkiv with Russian Uragan MLRS. Unfortunately, four people are in serious condition. Two people were killed," Syniehubov said.
He noted that ten crews of the regional emergency medical assistance center continue to work at the sites of the strikes.
"The Russian enemy strikes only the streets of the city, trade pavilions, residential infrastructure. They struck a residential building where a private dental clinic was located. There were no people inside the premises," he said.
Residents of Kharkiv were asked to be extremely careful, as the enemy is firing chaotically and brutally at the city.
The shelling of one of the most densely populated districts of Kharkiv began after 09:00. As of 10:40, two people were reported killed and 17 injured by the attack.
The enemy has shelled public transport stops in Kharkiv for the second day in a row. On July 20, three people were killed in Saltivka, including a 13-year-old boy. His 15-year-old sister and an elderly woman were injured.
