Russia already used over 50% of its ‘precision’ weaponry – intelligence
The relevant statement was made by Vadym Skibitskyi, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Military intelligence has made a certain assessment regarding the precision weaponry – according to the Russian Federation, these are the Iskander systems, Kalibr missiles, air launched cruise missiles, Kh-101 and Kh-155. Based on our estimates, at the moment they have used from 55% to 60% of what they had prior to the war,” Skibitskyi told.
In his words, most ballistic missiles were used for the Iskander systems. Thus, Russia has not used such missiles for a long time so far.
At the same time, Skibitskyi stressed that Russia had very large stocks of the Soviet-era military equipment.
“These are Kh-22 cruise missiles, which were used twice from the territory of Belarus, and others. This is a complete set of Smerch, Uragan and Grad rocket ammunition, various air bombs, and everything that remained from the Soviet Union,” Skibitskyi noted.
In his words, Russia’s stocks of old missiles are very large and difficult to estimate.
