Ukraine’s Armed Forces repulse three attacks in Bakhmut direction, battle ongoing near Pokrovske

In the east, Russian troops launched several unsuccessful attempted assaults near Ivano-Daryivka in Kramatorsk direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine made the enemy flee.

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the situation on the front as of 18:00, published on Facebook.

On Volyn and Polissya directions, civilians are still banned from visiting forests near Belarus–Ukraine border. The operational-tactical level of aerial reconnaissance by UAVs in the border areas of Volyn region is observed.

In Siversky direction, the enemy shelled civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Znob-Novhorodske, Khrinivka, Senkivka and others, conducted aerial reconnaissance near Znob-Novhorodske.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy opened fire from tube and rocket artillery near Borshchova Sosnivka, Petrivka, Rubizhne, Mospanove, Chuhuiv, Svitlychne, and Slatyne, launched airstrikes near Zalyman, Mospanove, and Yavirske. With the forces of the reconnaissance group, the enemy tried to expose the defense of Ukrainian troops in the area of Chepil. The occupants were neutralized.

In Slovyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Nortsivka, Dolyna, Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillia, Mazanivka, and other localities with tube, rocket artillery and tanks. The invaders tried to advance near Bohorodychne but failed and retreated.

In Kramatorsk direction, artillery shelling was recorded near Raihorodok, Zakitne, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamyanske, Vyimka, Pereyizne, and Bilohorivka. The enemy launched an air strike near Hryhorivka. The invaders unsuccessfully tried to scout out the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in Verkhniokamyanske area. Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the occupiers' attempt to improve the tactical position in Ivano-Daryivka area and forced the enemy to flee.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired at military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Berestove, Soledar, Pokrovske, Vesela Dolyna, Vershyna, Kodema, Mayorske, and Toretsk. The Russians cynically launched airstrikes directly on the localities of Pokrovske and Novoluhanske. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attempted assaults in the areas of Berestove, Soledar and Semyhirya. Fighting against an assault group continues in the area of Pokrovske.

The enemy did not conduct active operations in Avdiivka, Novopavlivsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions. The Russians systematically shelled civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Vesele, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Pavlivka, Shevchenko, Velyka Novosilka, Novopil, Malynivka, Novoselivka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and others.

The invaders launched an airstrike near Malynivka, assaulted the areas of Pavlivka and Blahodatne villages. They were repulsed and retreated with losses.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on holding the occupied positions and preventing the advance of Ukrainian units. The enemy actively carries out aerial reconnaissance by UAVs and fires along the contact line.
